Vatnajökull National Park

Oddson Hotel Downtown is in a great location - just a 15 minute walk to most of the sites in the busier downtown area, and if you plan on doing some day tours, it's only a 15 minute walk to the BSI bus station, plus just 5 minutes from one of the Reykjavik Art Museum locations. Food can be quite expensive in Iceland, so having a kitchenette with a mini fridge worked very well for me to be able to stock up on groceries for my stay. The bed was also extremely comfortable. My only complaints are if you have a room with a window that faces the main street, you can hear any street noise (luckily the neighborhood is not in a super noisy area) - also there is only a sheer window curtain - not ideal for privacy and not ideal for blocking out some noise, plus there was a bright street light that I had to block by stacking up some spare pillows in the window sill. Otherwise, very easy to check in, & convenient luggage storage that you can use for free hours before and after you check in. I would stay here again if I found myself in Reykjavik.

clean , breakfast and location very good

We were allocated to the Artisan House. It was in a good central location just a short walk from the city centre and from the bus stop where all the trips started. We had a nice spacious room with a little kitchen area. The hotel staff were always very helpful. We ordered the breakfast but cancelled it after the first day as it was rather expensive, the bread didn't arrive in time for the trips we had booked to go on and we weren't able to choose the contents of the basket. We bought our own supplies and prepared our own breakfasts instead.
