「There was an issue with the pool at the Cretan Lodge prior to our arrival, our hosts contacted us a few days before and asked if Canes Villa would be ok as a substitute as they recognized the importance of a pool for the kids. 「The villa (Marianna) was exquisite. Overlooking Istron Bay and the Istron Hotel, the view was breathtaking.
We were able to use the hotel’s amenities including beach chairs and umbrellas, which was nice.
Dimitry was a great host and available to answer questions when they came up.
Overall, highly recommend the private villas. Just bear in mind that access to the villas is via the Istron Hotel’s main access road so just enter the hotel as your destination otherwise you may just drive right...
