"This was the first time returning to my home town and stayed in a hotel as well as my first visit to the Hotel Wayne. The hotel is a historic building and as such does not have an elevator; however, it does have a beautiful wide staircase. I found all of the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The Hotel Wayne has has its own restaurant and bar for your relaxation. The bartender, Maggie, was wonderful as were Shelby and Mel. Thank you ladies for allowing me to spend time with you! I miss you already... My room was large, well appointed and clean. It over looked Main Street and the star on Irving Cliff. This was a welcome perspective. If you are looking for a historic place and don't mind not having all of the frills, I highly recommend a stay at the Hotel Wayne."

"The check in lady was very accommodating and helpful even though she was on her own which was unfortunate. The room was lovely and we enjoyed our meal at Trex Bar, very good food and service. I would definitely recommend this hotel because of the friendly staff and comfortable accommodations. "
