Our mid-century bungalow features tons of natural light, wood beams, bamboo floors, a stone fireplace, and a large fully fenced backyard! We are situated in a peaceful neighborhood about 1 mile from Downtown Vancouver and 15 minutes from the airport.

Cute Bungalow

This was a cute bungalow. House was clean, the back yard was great for the dog. Near lots of things and we found some walking trails nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for visiting family in the area for the holidays

We loved our stay. Being located right off of I-5 and a great neighborhood to walk our dogs in up the hill from the place. The fenced back yard was also great. Very comfortable beds.

Nice option for our stay.

The property itself was clean. Everything worked. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing is the driveway is a bit steep and a little scary to back down. But we knew about it before we arrived. We were very happy that the heat worked as it got quite cold on our trip and it was a great location and very convenient for our stay. The host communicated well and we had a good trip.

Great house and neighborhood

This was a lovely house with everything you need supplied. The kitchen is more than adequate for preparing meals. The best part of this house is the huge fenced backyard and the mid 20th century architecture. It's very close to the freeway so getting around town and into Portland was super easy. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area.

Fantastic House and Great Location!

This house was a perfect spot for our large family! The location is fantastic - close to the freeway, grocery store, and gas station. As has been mentioned by others, the driveway is quite steep, but definitely doable. Colin was very responsive and was an excellent host. Although the home does not have central air conditioning, there were three portable units which were essential and cooled the entire home really well! The fenced backyard was perfect for our pup and the back outdoor area has lights, a large patio table, and a gas fire area. We had a great stay!

Quaint

Limited cooking utensils for someone who cooks. Found it difficult to make a meal for a large family with the small pots and pans provided. A majority of the French is falling down, was held up by large stumps and, we found, so corn hole bistds that we thought were for our use. Nope they were holding boards in place. Our dog could have escaped. Lawn was dead. Otherwise home was nice and clean

Main bedroom off the kitchen was quiet and bed was comfortable. Kitchen had what we needed for coffee and more. Close to downtown and the waterfront district. Home was clean and cozy. Will stay again when we’re back in town.

The house was great! Well equipped kitchen, cleaning stuff, bathroom, even a first aid kit which came in handy for a bandaid. Thank you for a great place to call home while we were in town for a family wedding!

Great stay!

A comfortable and spacious stay that allowed us to have a homebase while we explored the area, including the Oregon zoo and a comedy show. Great communication, as well as not too many tchotchkes that my kids could knock over. The driveway was steep as advertised, but it didn’t present any kind of problem for us. Easy to get up!

We really love the the mid century house. We came to relax. Unfortunately the furniture left a lot to be desired. Couch was terribly uncomfortable, kitchen table chairs were not table chairs and the beds were less than comfortable. The backyard was large and tables and chairs were his, but didn't get closer to the bbq.Update and change out these items. Attention to these small details will go a long way to make this place 4-5 stars all around.

Great place to stay!

This was a great house in a nice location central to Portland and Seattle. The bedrooms were quite comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed, and it has a nice BIG yard. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant, and the pet-policy is great. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed two nights to break up a trip with my sons to a Mariner’s game. The driveway is very steep. I’m glad we drove the car because my truck would not have fit under the carport and would have had to park on the street which wouldn’t be ideal. If you have any mobility issues this property is not a good fit given the steep climb and the bathrooms are very small. It met our needs and for the price was adequate. The reviews are fairly accurate, just surprised nobody mentioned the driveway and steepness to the house. Great communication with the host. Good location. Cute little bungalow.
