Property was well maintained and location perfect for walking tours around the neighborhood to see street art. Breakfast spread was the best so far in our trip to Chile. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice although brief stay

Very nice although brief stay. We were able to check in early and were allowed to stay a little later too. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Room was spacious and clean with great views of ocean and hilly town. We used UBER a lot and that worked out great. Area around hotel loaded with restaurants and shops that were well within walking distance.

The location is wonderful, with views of the port and the city. Also, it is an easy walk to restaurants & marketplace as well as to the furnicular into the main square. Be sure to sign up for your private Spa session - with a small pool, hot tub, sauna and tranquil vibe. Above all - the staff was exceptional. I truly loved my couple of days here!

Though not needed this trip as relatively cool, I did expect air conditioning would be available. Would have liked in house dinner as felt unsafe outside hotel at night travelling alone.

The renovations to this property were well done. There is an elevator, however they have two beautiful staircases. The location is across the street from a beautiful museum, great views, and a few restaurants to choose. They also can arrange for transportation from Santiago airport to the hotel, as well as work with tour operator to provide custom tours of the city and surrounding area.

An outstanding hotel. The only one to stay in when in Valparaiso. Hotel is charming as it’s in a palace. It’s been beautifully retrofitted to meet travelers’ expectations. We had a very generously proportioned room with a charming view of the city. The spa, especially the Japanese-style hot tub was a very welcome treat after climbing the many city staircases! The breakfasts were outstanding with a great choice of offerings including eggs, bacon, cereals , homemade jams, jellies, breads, croissants—the works! Extremely pleasant terrace for afternoon relaxation or sunset drinks. The staff was one of the most charming we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. They recommended restaurants and found us an excellent car service for our trip to Santiago. They sought to make our stay outstanding and they succeeded.
