Mystic village

Located in a side valley to the Vezère, the cottage is situated directly next to the very picturesque tiny Village of Valojoulx. The region does not require further recommendation... The cottage itself is built against the rock shelter flanking the village, as is typical for the region. We found it super-clean, equipped for all practical needs and very well prepared for our visit. The hosts are very attentive and helpful if questions arise. The place is great for a private, quiet time, and the limited window size that comes with age and type of building, is compensated for by the rustic charm of natural stone walls, authenticity and a very well-working fireplace. We loved our time here.

Super séjour au calme au cœur du perigord

Jamais vous n’imagineriez qu’un tel village existe. Caché des routes, Valojoulx ne se découvre que lorsqu’on y arrive. Mais avec un vrai charme, un calme olympien toute la journée, une situation idéale proche des merveilles du Perigord noir, c’est parfait pour des vacances culturelles et reposantes. Magali et son breton de mari sont des hôtes accueillants et très accommodants. Ce qui est sûr, c’est qu’on reviendra!

Delight in the Dordognes

I had a wonderful stay. The property is very comfortable and well-appointed. The location is excellent. Valojouix is a very small, quaint village, that is very friendly and well-located (nearby shopping such as Intermarche, pharmacy, etc.). There is good parking available. I did a lot of walking and it was a good place to start for that. I also was able to plan several day trips to see the prehistoric sites as well as a number of beautiful villages not that far away. You have many options and choices at your fingertips whether you want to go to a large city like Bordeaux or visit some of the smaller villages. The hosts were accessible very helpful (even helped with my IT problems). I will definitely come back if my plans include this part of France again.

Très bon séjour !

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable aux jardins d’eden, la propreté du logement était irréprochable, la localisation permet de faire beaucoup d’activités sans faire trop de kilomètres. Magalie, la propriétaire a été très accueillante et nous a été de bons conseils pour visiter la région ! Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu et y reviendrons avec plaisir !

Merveilleux!

Qu'il porte bien son nom, ce gîte! Un accueil des plus charmants, sympathique et drôle, un gîte au calme extrêmement bien équipé en tout point, beau jardin et belle piscine (et jacuzzi!). Nous avons passé une semaine très très agréable. La région est superbe et il faudrait des semaines pour tout visiter! Merci pour ces belles vacances!

Super séjour !!!

Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Le gîte, ainsi que le jardin de la propriété, sont parfaits pour passer d'agréables vacances en famille. Situé dans un petit village très tranquille et plein de charme, idéal pour découvrir cette belle région !!!
