"If you have travel plans in this somewhat remote area of Italy you cannot do better than this hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet —friendly staff, some of whom speak very good English. Hotel restaurant is very good for dinner and serves a buffet breakfast too. We arrived late and were very happy with the convenience and quality of the on site restaurant for dinner. "Check in was ok, there was a language barrier. We were told the pool was open till 6:30 and it wasn’t. As we got in we were kicked out. There is a charge for the indoor pool, which we were told was 10 but see signs saying 5. The hotel is having building works. People were working as we went to our room. The whole place smells of sewage. We tried to get a drink at the bar but they didn’t have basic things like lemonade. I went to walk the dog and we were attacked by stray dogs that roam both the...
