「Staff were super helpful and friendly; and most importantly, the place was very quiet and relaxing. During our stay the washrooms upstairs were out of service so that was a bit of a hassle going downstairs every time. Other than that, the place was amazing, it was one of the most peaceful sleep we’ve had in our many stays here Iceland!」

「What a charming place! We stayed here in April 2026 with two other guest parties. It was peacefully quiet. There are no restaurants nearby, so plan to eat dinner here or bring it with you. A mini fridge and microwave are available. This is convenient to the Studlagil Canyon, which is why we stayed here. Our room was very comfortable with a large bathroom. Our hosts were friendly and offered some travel suggestions. We appreciated the inclusion of breakfast with our stay. Wifi worked great....

「This place was ok for a one-night stay, but felt pretty cheap for a hotel that actually wasn’t that cheap. We got a room with a private bathroom and ate at their restaurant area since they have no shared kitchen space. The food wasn't good at all, but the staff was extremely friendly and let many people order food even though the kitchen was supposed to close. We decided not to stick around for breakfast since the dinner food was so mediocre, so I couldn’t comment on if it's worth the extra...

「Todo perfecto, lo único fue que el agua caliente olía mucho a azufre, de las 10 noches que estuvimos en Islandia solo nos pasó en este y en otro hotel, puede ser un poco molesto porque no estamos acostumbrados. 「We stayed 2 nights in the room with balcony during end April. Probably it was still off peak so it seems we were the only ones in the second night. The town was quite busy in the day but very quiet at night. Nice view and have the vibe of Nordic fjord.」

「Very spacious cottage with an equipped kitchen. Hosts were responsive. We stayed overnight during a bag storm and everything worked well including wifi. Shower pressure was very good too. Would recommend a deeper cleaning. 」
