"We had a fabulous time at casa do Monte! The villa is perfect for large families, well equipped and the grounds are beautiful. Marcus was very accommodating and even arranged for us to have a traditional Portuguese BBQ. I highly recommend this villa."

"Fantastic Stay, It is looking like what you can see in a great magazine picture!"

"This is a room to remember! It is apparently new judging from the pristine condition and stylish modern amenities. The private hot tub on the patio is a welcome amenity after a long day of sightseeing and port wine tasting. The view out the windows is pastoral and inviting. Its just a short distance from the town, but its not practical to walk anywhere from here so we recommend if you have a car or are happy to use rideshares. The driveway entrance is non-descript so pics are below to help...

"A casa tem condições excelentes, é muito bonita e está muito bem conservada. Eramos um grupo de 15 pessoas e passamos um fim-de-semana excelente muito bem passado sem necessidade de sair de casa. A comunicação entre a Feel Discovery e a Proprietária tem que melhorar, mas conseguiu-se resolver tudo."

"Au début on était pas certain de l’emplacement car est sur une petite rue dans le village, mais finalement c’était parfait. On a profiter de la piscine, croisière fluviale Duoro a 30 minutes, vignobles et même Porto a 1:30, alors ce fait très bien aller retour. "

"The house was lovely and as described. We loved the pool and the big kitchen. Our whole family (grandparents to little ones) had a great time. The host, Maria, was communicative and helpful. The fruit and veg shop across the street was great (careful they sell by the kilo). We couldn't have had a more idyllic stay in Duro Valley."

"Amazing stay! Breakfast was great, grounds were beautiful, room was nice, bathroom was phenomenal! Pool was beautiful and self service fridge with water, soda and wine! Parking was great, secure location! Up hill it walking from train station but short drive from town and wineries. GORGEOUS VIEWS! Great staff! Would recommend! Would return! "

"Anna greeted us upon arrival and not only checked us in, but walked us to our room. The property is wonderful, clean, well attended and in a perfect location. Staff are always available and smiling. Breakfast buffets are numerous, plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed our room with a balcony overlooking the river very much. "

"Our room was so comfortable with an exterior door and sitting area. One of 10 rooms on the property it was a quiet location. Breakfast is delicious overlooking the river and valley. Small menu is available all day (til 5:00) and special dinner is served nightly at 7:30 from a very limited but delicious menu. Make reservations before 5 pm of the day you wish eat. Love the wine tasting and review and all the wines are available for purchase and very reasonably priced. Close to Penhao and many other wineries and activities. I’d highly recommend this Quinta. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice pool, walking areas and covered parking. "
