"Lovely view looking over the mountains. Location was incredible. Could leave the room and be on the slopes in a couple of minutes. Room is on same floor as the door leading to the slopes, so that was amazing. The apartment was lovely too. Love how it all looks, the wood finish really makes it all cosy. Convenient to have a washing machine too. The sofa bed was very comfortable even if it did make a bit of noise when moving around. The one thing I would say is for two adults one child the place is a perfect size, but anymore people then space gets very tight. Overall, cannot complain. The building also has a supermarket and a restaurant that does good pizzas. Would definitely book again purely for how the apartment is decorated and such close location to the slopes. Very close to P2 parking if you arrive by car. "

"Very close to ski slopes. The building is in very serious need of renovation. It has an appearance of a cheap hostel. The staff responded to messages via WhatsApp quickly, so no issues with communication. "

"I was a little worried, after seeing the reviews, however all in fine. There are a few strange rules: At the end of the stay, you go to reception to claim back your deposit. They radio the manager who checks the room. I was called back down to the room. They wanted all bowls and plates to be in exactly the same place on the shelf as when you arrive. (We could do with a photo?) I also had to sweep the apartment and the chairs had to be exactly the same place as when we started. I went back to reception and the deposit was refunded. Just a little hard work and petty. But that was my only problem all week. Pros Lovely warm duvets. Great blackout curtains Quiet - apart from the beep beep of ski mobiles outside Great views over the valley All cooking equipment you need for a week Just microwave with a grill and a 2 pan stove. No oven. They supply a dish cloth and two tea towels, plus some surface cleaner. No washing up liquid. Hot water all all times of day. Lovely shower. There was a kettle also in the room. Luggage store if you need at the beginning or end. Sheets, towels all supplied. Plus towel for floor. Ski in, ski out brilliant. Ski lockers right next to slopes. I would stay again. "

"We chose this apartment as previous stays in Val Thorens were higher up in the town, which made travelling to ski school with our children difficult in the past, so this apartment was ideal for us to get the children to school on time and with ease. However, we experienced a day in which 4 members of our family missed and were late to ski school as the building failed to open the ski room by 08:00am. The ski rooms should be locked 20:00-08:00, however by 08:45, the room was not opened. We tried to find staff to help us with this so we could make the 09:00 lessons and school but the room wasn’t opened until 09:20 and the lessons were not refundable. I contacted the host about this, and we did not get a reply for 2 days and the reply did not offer any advice or points of contacts, just that the room ‘should be unlocked on time’.The apartment itself was nice, it fitted 12 guests and we appreciated the large dining space were we could all eat as a family, as this is something we have not always had in other apartments, however the apartment was not clean at all. There were layers of dust (pictured below), there were cobwebs in the bathrooms, the sofa cushions were covered in stains, windows were not cleaned and 2 of the appliances (espresso machine and milk machine) did not work.We also experienced 4 x power cuts in one evening, I contacted the host about this and we did not get a reply for 2 days.
