Perfect location! Awesome people watching!! They were painting the stairs & hallway the entire time we were there, made it a bit dicey getting in & out without paint on us, as well as having the odor from the latex paint. Housekeeping was lovely the first 2 nights, then no beds were made, even though towels were replaced. The door lock was VERY difficult - including the inner lock button kept falling out of the doorknob every time we unlocked it! Beautiful place, may be hard without management on premises.
Here’s a polished, clear, and fair rewrite that keeps your tone honest and respectful while improving flow and readability:I really hate giving this property a low rating because it is absolutely beautiful, and the location is amazing. Unfortunately, several factors that were out of the owner’s control significantly impacted our stay. The loud noise from the DJ bar next door, along with street noise from people drinking and yelling late into the night, made it very difficult to sleep. Turning on the AC to cool the room caused the vents to squeak very loudly, so the only alternative was opening the window —which only let in more noise. There is also a unit above, and we unfortunately had very heavy walkers and children running, which added to the disruption, especially at night. On top of that, the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. While the property itself is beautiful and the location is ideal, these issues greatly affected our overall experience. Sadly, because of this, I would not stay here again.
Perfect location especially if you enjoy going to Red Lion and Bridge Street at night. Such a close walk and so convenient and centrally located. Such a fun stay with a cute little balcony where you can see outside. We were there for Go-Pro games and I CANNOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE MORE! We will 100% be coming again and staying here!
Great property, fantastic location, can be noisy at night.
Overall this property is fantastic. It's a 1 minute walk to Gondola One and sits in the heart of East Vail Village. The downside of being in the heart of the village is the many, many, drunken apres-apres-ski revelers whooping it up all evening long right outside the window. That quiets down after about 2 A. M.
Check-in is up the street but after getting key you can drive to end of Gore Creek Drive and unload and take the back stairs to the 2nd floor of the property. Not ideal but not terrible by any means with teenagers to help but maybe not for elderly. Like other reviews, the property is located in the heart of the village and yes it can be noisy at night but that was expected and did not bother us. The trash pick up every morning @ 7am was loud but we were up and it did not bother us. No issues with loud neighbors except for the last night of our stay. The property itself was clean, beds very comfortable but is in dire need of renovating. It was good to know that while we were there the owners had contractors/engineer come to the property as they are planning on renovating the property. As is, the kitchen was not equipped for cooking any major
meals but did not impact us as we only had breakfast and lunch at the property. The property is in a fantastic location and only a 2 minute walk to the main Gondola. Hopefully with a renovation, the property will be more equipped for renters. Nothing to light the real fireplace, (had to buy a lighter and fire starter) no games or cards, TV was tiny, kitchen had minimal utensils, and pots and pans all 20 plus years old. Tough to cook pancakes in a single pan! There is also no dedicated space for your skis/snowboards and boots. We read the other reviews and did not expect a 5 star stay and expected the noise from village activities. We would like to see what the owners do with the renovations and would stay at the property again. Oh - the skiing was epic!
Property was an easy walk to slopes and restaurants and it had large common spaces that made it easy to have friends visit apres ski. It is in the village so can get noisy, but bedrooms were not directly over the street so earplugs sufficed.
Our family of five was very comfortable during our stay here. The place is a bit dated. That didn’t bother us as we were on the mountain all day, and prioritized location, location, location. Being right in the Village is so convenient, however, it can be noisy early am with delivery and garbage trucks and late into the evening with the sounds of nearby bars, restaurants and upstairs inhabitants. This is not a quiet setting. Being able to walk to Gondola One more than made up for it. Kitchen is equipped, however drink ware is limited. We would stay again - price is right and location can’t be beat!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Aged, noisy, dirty, and in need of help!
The property is in a great location. That's both a pro and a con. The pro = easy to walk to everything in the village. Easy to get to the #1 Gondola. That's about where it ends.
The Cons: There is no parking and you have to carry your stuff from the check- in location blocks away. If you want to park, you can, for $40 per day, blocks away. Being in the heart of the village means you are subjected to constant noise. The windows are not sealed well. You hear everyone outside like they were standing in the unit. We had groups of drunken skiers nightly yelling and having a good time right out front.. going on way past midnight!
Then you have the unit upstairs. I would never recommend you rent the lower unit we stayed in. We had renters above us who were horribly loud. We could hear every word, action, movement, etc. Water flushing, showers, and so on.. horribly load banging, crashing, talking, etc.
Now for the unit: The unit was in horrible condition. It had a horrible layout. The master bathroom is wide open to the bedroom. The toilet area is squeezed into the shower area. Carpeting is horrible dirty. Black all around the edges, stains, etc. I'm guessing 20+ years old! There was no upkeep or maintenance done on this unit. Lamps and lights without bulbs, broken lamps, broken shower door handles (couldn't open the shower door once you got in and closed it), kitchen had broken appliances, toilets ran all day if you didn't fiddle with them. The upstairs toilets ran for days... You just laid in bed listening to the rushing water noise.
Also keep in mind there are a lot of stairs you must climb to get to the unit.
At the end of the day,for what we paid for the unit vs what we received was embarrassing. The owners need to spend a few dollars to make the repairs, replace the discusting carpeting, etc.
With all this said, the management team was very accommodating and friendly.
The location is amazing!!! The price was great for the summer and offers good space. No a/c and thin walls though, and TVs need a huge upgrade to unwind at the end of a long day.
Over all the condo was great. There glass wear was limited. “ cocktail and wine glasses needed “ loved the fireplace, but, could upgrade to a larger TV
