We chose the suite because it had a small kitchen and a private terrace. You have to take fairly narrow spiral staircase to get upstairs but this was not a problem for us. "This hotel may have been nice at some point but needs serious updates. The smoke detector was removed with wires hanging from ceiling, you could not control your room temperature without talking to the front desk (but this was not disclosed at checking ) so we were extremely hot for several hours. We would have called them but the phone did not work. The beds are rock hard. The staff were very nice and the restaurant was excellent but a bit expensive. I would not recommend this hotel."
