This bed and breakfast is one of the cleanest, most charming and comfortable places my husband and I have ever stayed in! The host Mike is amazing! He called us the morning of to take our breakfast order and to walk is through the check-in process (which is very easy) and even gave us recommendations for dinner. Definitely try PK’s pub if you like a good home cooked meal. We would hands down recommend this to everyone and would love to stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay at the Grand Colonial B&B! Our room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was updated and gorgeous. Mike fixed a fabulous breakfast for us that was delicious! Highly recommend!

The Grand Colonial is a great choice for a temporary home in the Herkimer area. So rich in American Revolutionary history, the old mansion is an historic relic that is kept up-to-date by its current owners. Mike was our host, and he couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We give it our highest recommendation.

A group of 4 of us stayed the weekend. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the property, amenities and the PEOPLE. 5 ⭐️! The included made to order, very customizable Breakfast is Delish and will keep you full way past lunch!! Brick can never be underestimated as a vital part of the hospitality team! Mike you are the perfect host! We appreciated the added stories. We’ll be back.

Excellent B&B with Amazing service

This is an excellent B&B, and the owner Mike provides excellent service, right from even before we checked in all the way through to breakfast and our check out. The accommodations are excellent and comfortable, and the made to order breakfast was amazing. As a bonus, we got to meet the other guests and had some great conversations.

A lovely night at The Grand Colonial

We stayed one night as a stopover on our way east. The hotel is a period property and very well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was excellent and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and very generous.

Mike was there to greet us at check in. Gave us a bottle water and a tour of the beautiful home. Bathroom was immaculate. Towels and bathrobes were plush. Bed was comfortable. The portable fan was a welcome addition. Breakfast was fresh, hot and plentiful! And the drive to Cooperstown was lovely.

Fantastic stay at Colonial B&B! Mike was super helpful with check in information. Kingslanding bedroom was super clean and comfortable! We loved the big bathroom and small touches to the room to make our stay more comfortable. Thank you for the amazing breakfast! Definitely recommend!!
