「We have stayed several times in the UP and this was our favorite property. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. 「We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. 「The cabin was absolutely great! It was very clean. If you have kids, they have a baby gate, pack & play and booster seat. They even had supplies for your pup. 「Loved our getaway up north. We rented a boat from a resort nearby and spent lots of time enjoying the water. We had one problem the first evening, and the hosts were very responsive and took care of the issue in a timely manner. The upstairs shower needs some attention because the hot and cold water tabs are reversed. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend you give it a try.」

We were a bit disappointed that you cannot see the lake from the cabin and that there was another property and a road in between the cabin & the lake. 「Several friends and I visit the Northwoods once a year around this time for a weekend of ATV trail riding. We've stayed at a few locations and always had good luck. This location was no different. Plenty of room (inside & out), comfortable furnishings and bedding, great location (across from gas station & on the trail), and lots of little touches.
