「Lovely hotel right in the centre of Locarno square, immaculate, restaurants and shops 2 minutes away and ten minute walk to station」

「This is a lovely, very clean and convenient hotel in Ascona, a charming little town. We stayed for just one night on our way to Italy, but we left with such fond memories of our stay. The hotel is family run, and the wonderful couple who run it make you feel genuinely welcome and cared for from the moment you arrive. Their kindness and personal touch made the experience feel special. There are plenty of nice, clean hotels, but it’s the heartfelt hospitality here that makes this one truly...

「Nettes, rustikales Zimmer. Aber...! Kompliziertes self-checkin.

「A wonderful quaint, old B&B. Breakfast was excellent and the owners and hosts, Doriano and Giovanna are knowledgeable and kind. They were helpful in providing extra linen, an early breakfast to go, and much valuable instruction on accessing area attractions. Also Tea the lovely lab is a sweet soul. The location is perfectly situated close to the ferry dock. The town of Dongo is precious and quiet and perfect for our needs. I would consider this “rustic” accommodations in the way that if you are...

Merci Nadia」

「Wonderful stay in Varzo! Lovely mother and daughter hosts. Delicious homemade breakfast and very comfortable room with a nice view. Right down the hill from San Domenico ski area with excellent scenic hiking. Would recommend Chalet Il Picchio to all!」

「We had a great stay and were nicely welcomed by Roberto. He cooked a delicious dinner for us and breakfast was really good. The area is stunning and we wished we had booked a longer stay to exlore and enjoy a cosy place in the evening. Thank you!」

「The options of breakfast are limited. There is no place to go in local, the ferry to main site, such as, Bellagio,,, are limited. If you miss the one at 8:50am, you have to wait to another one at 12:00 pm.」

「Everything was perfect. Hosts were very friendly, breakfast nice, bed was comfortable. Absolutely worth staying there!」

「This place is a perfect work of art, which is wonderful. The GPS takes you slightly further than you should go if you are using Google maps or Apple Maps and driving here. Meaning that the hotel is above the little town that it shows to be near or in according to the GPS maps. Other than this, everything was perfect!」

「Didier was an amazing host! Really cute, authentic property and the Colico train station was a ten minute drive to ride into Varenna. Highly recommend!」

「Nice little town」

「Excellent attention, clean, view, walkable」

「The location was really nice. Walkable distance from grocery stores and the train station. The staff was helpful and nice in leading us to the room since it was separate from the hotel. The internet was not working so we couldn’t watch tv or use wifi on our devices. The bathroom door was also broken and we couldn’t shut it all the way. Other than that, it was a great stay and we’d probably do it again. Had a small kitchen counter deal with limited dishes but we didn’t use it.」
