「When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome.」

「1970’s spacious retro basement suite. Lovely lake view and had coffee and wine down by the lake to watch the birds several times. Fun with the ping pong table too - what a nice addition. Was damp downstairs and dehumidifier was quite noisy. We still had a lovely time . 」

「Very clean. Great location, easy walking to waterfront. Kitchen looked well stocked but we never cooked while we were there. It’s amazingly spacious, we were very comfortable. My only comment is that the dark blinds in the master bedroom weren’t flush to the walls and let in light at night. 」

「Everything was well explained from check in to check out. They checked in to ensure all was well. It is beautifully laid out and close to all the down town tourism stuff. "Loved this hotel! Great location, friendly staff, and overall a really satisfying experience. I had a relaxing stay. The room was spacious. I used the sofa bed, but since it was placed near the air conditioner’s vent, it was a bit chilly. However, I asked the hotel staff for a blanket, and they kindly provided one, so it was fine. The view from the window faced the building across the street, but if you looked at an angle, you could catch a glimpse of the ocean. Overall, the room was clean, the hotel staff were friendly, and I had a very pleasant experience. I’d love to stay here again. Next time, I’d like to book a room with an ocean view."
