This hotel is in a great location and has a lovely facade. Unfortunately we experienced some issues with the room such as ants despite zero food present and holes in the bed sheets. Wall sockets were in inconvenient places and there was no air conditioning. It was nice to have breakfast included.

If you're looking for a place to sleep that wont break the bank then this is an ok option. Its really close to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen etc. The train and bus are 5 minutes walk very central. Rooms are dated, nothing special about it. I was up and out by 7am so I never had breakfast at the hotel and came back around 6pm. So the hotel was just a place for me to sleep.

Good location, and friendly staff. Breakfast was great with a good amount of options and plenty of seating for everyone. Hotel is run down, our room had peeling wallpaper, cracked furniture, and scratches all over. It is in need of a a basic makeover. The hotel seems to have an ant problem as our bed always had ants running through it constantly, we raised the matter with staff but they kept re-appearing. No air conditioning but they do provide fans.

Well located in Interlaken West. Just a block away from train and buses. Beautifully situated between 2 beautiful rivers, downtown and nice restaurants and bars. Staff was very friendly. I would stay again

I was with my wife and my child in double bed room in July. Positive Good location for transportation, view good, breakfast okay, staff good, balcony view mountain good, room clean okay, restaurants nearby Negative no iron in hotel (even we asked in lobby), window screen ripped, hair dryer not working, very old building air circulation is not good so felt hot, no ac in room (but fan there), not convenient for family with baby/child

Clost proximity to Interlaken West station. River on either side was a nice view from balcony. Decent breakfast. Staff was friendly. Allowed us to keep luggage after checkout for a few hours which was a big help. Room didn't have AC which was a bit of an inconvenience in peak summer with temps in mid 90s. But rooms were equipped with fans and cracking windows open allowed room to cool down after sun down. Room was spacious for our party of four. Extra large bathroom which seemed an exception in Siwtzerland. There was one small issue - one of the beds had ants and one member of our party got ant bites while sleeping. Other than the ant issue, stay was great.

If you think your saving money, your not. Our room didn’t have a fridge so all the food we got from coop couldn’t be stored. So we lost that and ended up going out to eat way more than we wanted to. Everything is pretty old. They didn’t even have a garbage can. The only thing they had was a bucket in the bathroom with actual doggy bags. No actual bag that fit the bucket, but legitimately doggy bags. So if you litterly just need a place to sleep and shower, this is your place. Very convenient location to get on the train. And non of the receptionist were approachable. Every question seemed to bother them.

Breakfast menu wasn't wide and really needed more egg options. Boil eggs in shell wasn't appealing. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Room #218 had a excellent view of both sides of hotel with a balcony which i loved. Walking distance to everything and very close to train station. Enjoyed my stay.
