「Generally, it was great. The grades were a bit steep for some of us "old timers" (walking our dogs, etc.), but hey... it's in the mountains... right??? Very pretty. We did have an incident with our A/C and water, due to a lighning strike, but Eric and Mike were quick to respond, and went out of their way to solve the problem quickly (and at no small expense). A great family reunion, and we made many memories.」

「We stayed here for my daughter's graduation from PSU. The pictures don't do it justice as far as how big it is. Of all the places I have stayed at over the years, this was the most comfortable because it was so roomy, including the bathroom. The hosts were great and thought of everything. They left us snacks, drinks and a gift. Wish we discovered this gem sooner than graduation! 」

「Not many options in Port Matilda, so we were lucky to find this place so close to the Marrasas Mountain Lodge. We were still able to get an Uber from state college. And swing into state college for breakfast and supplies. It was perfect for our family of 6. And we even hosted some friends after the wedding. The outside looked comfy but weather wasn’t cooperating (rain) to use it. Loved the blue white Penn state details. Host was super responsive with some last minute questions. 」

「Each of the three bedrooms was set up with a queen-sized bed, and each one was clean. Entire house was clean. Two and a half bathrooms were clean and in good shape, except one toilet's handle broke when we tried to flush it. I believe this was going to happen sooner or later, and unfortunately it just happened to us. But the place was conveniently located and the host responded quickly to all questions. 」

「We took a group of high school students for a fly fishing trip. The property was perfect for the group. They fished on the pond, played soccer, made s’mores, and played ghost in the graveyard. We would come back!」

「Property was perfect for our group of families with girls competing at a Cheer Competition at Bryce Jordan Center. It was a short drive and gave us space to hang out, cook meals and relax when we weren’t competing. 」
