"The room was clean and the hotel was quiet, except for the toilet that kept running for 10 seconds every 5 minutes (good luck if you get put into room 112). People were also vaping in the hotel, as there was a very strong odor of it whenever I used the bathroom and going out into the hallway.

"The staff at this hotel are great. They kept us informed and were polite the entire time. Check-in is rough, though. If you show up a little early, you're not getting in. I realize they are a busy hotel, but we'd been in the car for 7 hours and while the staff were very cordial, the policy seemed a bit too rigid. There was a point where plenty of guests were sitting in the lobby almost like at a doctor's appointment, waiting to be called for their room. Again, this isn't the fault of the staff. This is a policy issue.
It's an older hotel that has clearly been repurposed. While they did renovate, there's a lot that could be updated to make it better. We had the misfortune of having a room across from the elevator and two doors away from an outside exit. At 5 am, the noise started. There's a noticeable gap under the door, so that noise is coming right in. The bathtub was resurfaced and it was like trying to balance on a ball -- the tub floor was warped and probably unsafe for those who are unsteady on their feet.
The room was clean enough, comfortable, and the right temperature. Again, it gets high marks for the staff, but the rest could use some attention."

"The home is a duplex, with the owner living on the other side which I think should be made clear in the listing. Kitchen was well supplied and the record player and board games are a fun addition. Cool decor and clean. There were some maintenance issues with the toilets (had to take the backs off and reach in to stop one from running constantly and from the other when the handle broke off. The shower head sprayed out at the connection joints including in your face and on the ceiling. We paid over 500/night and felt at that price things should be in good working order. Appreciated being able to stay with our dogs. It is a great location and I enjoyed running the dogs around the neighborhood and through the very nice metro park that is nearby. "

"This is an older home with quality updates. Appliances, kitchen and bath supplies were top notch. We travel with a “go box” so we have quality paper products, cleaning supplies, hangers, cooking utensils, etc. but we did not need it. Nice backyard for sitting and letting the dog run. We’ll be back."
