"Door key problems "

"Upon check in, the desk worker appeared quite frazzled and rushed me to choose a shuttle time for the following morning. I later returned to the desk and same person was working. I was unable to close the remote blackout shade so I requested help. I was told to "just pull it" despite the fact that I had the remote in my hand and told her that the sheer operated properly. She repeated that I needed to just pull the shade down by hand or look for a wand. Upon returning to the room, I discovered the wire to the shade for the remote operation was broken. I was located in a first floor room, so I proceeded to pull on the shade for the next five minutes until it was completely closed. The friendly shuttle driver the following morning was the highlight of my stay."

"Too early for outdoor pool. Front desk person at check in was not very friendly or helpful. Made us feel less than welcome. Didn’t seem interested in answering any questions. We had a lakeside room but it overlooked the roof and was not an attractive sight with all the mess on it. Plus they were installing some kind of big unit so it was noisy. We wouldn’t have bothered with a lakeside room if we had known that was th view. I"

"This hotel appeared newly remodeled and looked great. Unfortunately our room did not have a thorough cleaning after the last guests left. The vanity mirror and sink were not clean. The new soap was placed on top of a soap dish that was still full of melted soap form the last guest. The bottom of the toilet did not appear to have been cleaned for a while. The room had a shower only and the shower curtain did not reach the floor so water was all over the bathroom floor after showering. This would be a great place to stay if the room cleaning was performed better. Breakfast did not include any hot food or protein but was adequate. Yogurt station had excellent toppings."

"We were under the impression our stay included breakfast. It didn’t. The facilities are lovely but room itself and buildings were not clean. Hallways weren’t vacuumed. Floors in room were not vacuumed… lots of “ crumbs” on carpet. "
