「We had a wonderful time here! Such a quiet and peaceful setting. We booked this property specifically to watch the Perseid meteor shower, and were treated to so much more! We were lucky enough to see the Norther Lights over the lake too! Had a great time taking the pontoon around the lake, and grilling on the quaint back porch. Being able to have our dog with was awesome as well! 」

「Great place if your looking for a quite, off the beaten path place to get away. Lake is great with a nice deck. Lots of floats and life jackets available. The house is very well stocked with everything you need. Kitchen has all the essentials. The town of Colon is about 10 minutes with a small grocery store and a few local places to eat .」

「Our stay was perfect from the minute we pulled up to the cottage until the minute we packed our bags and left. In hindsight I wish we would have extended our stay by another day or two. Everything was exactly as described on the VRBO app. The home was spotless and every amenity you could think of ever needing was available for our use.. I can’t speak more highly of Stacey - she was very easy to communicate with and available to answer any questions we had. 」

「My family and I enjoyed our stay. House was perfect. Very clean and had everything you needed and more. The only thing I did not like was the road you crossed to get to the lake/beach. Was much busier than I expected and scared me with little kids. I putting up signs for drivers to see so they know children are crossing :) Other than that we would definitely come back!」

「A comfortable retreat from the city life and if you are needing a little R&R, this is the place to be. The owners were very friendly and so helpful with any questions we had. The lake view was breathtaking. Forgot there was no dishwasher but turned out we did ok without it. Went to a sunflower patch at a nearby farm, enjoyed the kiddy size ice cream at the store. Not to mention all the fresh meats you could use for the grilling and than there was the ice cream. Wow you have to get some when...
