Close to beach

Excellent cabin, tidy & roomy. Bathroom well presented, tiles and grout very clean. Less than 5 mins walk to beach. A stove would have been nice.

The unit was excellent for our needs. Chilly room but electric blanket was perfect. Proximity to the beach was great and a lovely change from the mountains and layers of clothes on our tour of Tassie.

Facilities were good. Place clean. Walls very thin inside, could hear if someone got up during night. Light in next unoccupied cabin flicked on/off 1st night. Some Curtains need repair, dont meet in middle. Our outside light didnt work most of the time

Nice place close to Devonport Ferry Terminal

Stayed here 1 night in the latter stage of our 7 night getaway to the north and west coast of Tassie - hosts were welcoming and happy to give advice about the area - close to a really nice Beach and pleasant to walk around the area - the Cabin was pretty new and was well appointed - very clean and everything totally functional. Be aware though that when they say “Double Bed” they really mean double bed as in NOT a queen bed - cannot remember the last time we stayed in a premises and copped a double bed - We actually thought they didn’t use them any more as over the years have noticed place say “double bed” but when you get there it’s a Queen or sometimes even a King. We had not slept in a double bed for decades and we have done a fair bit of travelling ! Anyway having said that, we are not huge people and we got by quite admirably and it did say “double”. This was by far the most expensive Park we stayed in and although it was nice, new, quiet, comfortable it was probably only on a par with several other similar accommodations we stayed in - charges if you wanted extra blankets, pillows and if you didn’t wash your dishes - only comfortable seating for two but cabin designed for 4 - kitchen chairs (4) metallic construction and pretty cold and hard
