「Before I left for this trip, I said ‘if the property ends up being nearly as good as the listing makes it seem, this is going to be a great trip’ and it turns out the property was exactly as listed. Cute place, lots of outdoor space, plenty of privacy (except of course, for the alpacas watching you every move ;) ). It felt rustic, while having amenities like AC and solid wifi. We just left and have already decided that we would love to return!」

「This was a fall getaway for us. The cabin was small enough to be cozy but very clean and had everything you could need. It was very warm and welcoming on a damp fall afternoon after hiking the trails on the property. The stabor would be the perfect place to spend time reading or just relaxing. Only thing missing up there was a hammock for napping. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven with us. 」

「Stayed here with family and friends for my son’s wedding in the area. House was very clean and in a great area. Owner has the home very well appointed with all the necessities, appliances and kitchen equipment you may need. We didn’t get much time to enjoy the external property but it was well kept and expansive. You can tell the owners care about their guests having a nice relaxing time when staying at the house. 」

「Val and Ken’s place is located on a less traveled part of a very desirable lake near Detroit Lakes. During our stay, we might have seen 6 to 8 other watercraft in the lake near the house. We caught too many fish to count. 「Beautiful 2 bedroom one bathroom with the best lake view! Check in was easy. Quiet and nice seating area 4 feet from the water. Enjoyed the kayaked, fire pit and Sunlite bar and grill close by that had the best hamburgers! Went on a getaway weekend to relax and did just that! Loved our visits from Annie too! :) 」

「Very clean, decently appointed. We were there for a family gathering at my sisters so didn’t need to spend much time which turned out to be good. There is not much beyond the dwelling. The place was very clean and comfortable. However the smell from the well water was pretty over powering. While there was a keurig machine, it would have been nice to have coffee cups available at the property. Overall it served our purpose.」
