"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Golden, stayed the whole of in February 2025, hence returning next year (2026). Susantha (House Manager) is a credit to the business, welcoming, professional, very helpful and great with the arrangement of tours and travelling. The staff team were very friendly making us always feel at home. Their attention to detail was very good, attentive but not intrusive. Beautiful family suite & service

"A wonderful 3 night stay in the family suite with two double beds. Service from all the hotel staff was wonderful from the moment we arrived, and they went above and beyond from giving us a takeaway breakfast on our last day when we left early, as well as helping with our hired tuktuk! Hotel is further out of Galle Fort (about a 10min tuktuk drive/25 min walk), but setting of buildings onsite is lovely, centred around the main pool and communal outside area. There is a mosque nearby so you can hear the call to prayer, but didn't disturb us."

"To call this a 3-star hotel is an absolute understatement. This boutique hotel is full of charm and character, offering an experience that far exceeds its rating. We stayed in the Deluxe Ocean Front room, which was stunning. The room was spacious, the bathroom was modern and spotless, and the private balcony was the icing on the cake. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. They accommodated our early travel schedule by packing us a breakfast to-go on the first day and served breakfast on our balcony the next. Whether it's the front desk or the 24/7 security guard, you're always greeted with a warm smile. The shared oceanfront terrace offers a spectacular view of the sunset — a perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended."
