「Their dinner and breakfast were good. The safari jeep was very useful and cheaper than others. The room was very basic but clean and enough for one night.」

「This was the most amazing place to stay. First and foremost the staff were the most friendly and helpful you could imagine. The facilities at Hantara were incredible with a pool which was immaculately clean. Our lodge was spacious,characterful and spotlessly clean. The staff arranged a safari for us in Udawalawe National Park which is very close by. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you to everyone at Hantara.」

「DO NOT STAY HERE!! i was bitten and scratched by the dog here. It waited outside the room. Sleeps on the chair outside. It blocks the top so you can't get down the dangerous stairs. It goes for your legs/feet because it wants attention. We was badly over charged for rice for dinner. No wifi. No AC. 20 power cuts. We only had electricity for 2hours on and off out of the 12hours we was there. We couldn't wait to leave. The owner/family hardly speak english when we said how unhappy/upset we was...
