Many things in the room were broken: AC, hairdryer, water temperature. The pool also had issues so that we couldn’t use it. The staff the the reception was very nice but the rest of the staff didn’t understand English properly. The location was very central but the last few meters to the hotel had dark corners. The hotel staff can also bring you and pick you up for this part.

The Verandah is excellent value in Udaipur. We booked a king size room with a balcony overlooking the lake. The views were wonderful. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was good with hot water for the shower. The restaurant was good and the breakfast including the coffee which was excellent. The location is ideal for visiting the city's key sites, many in walking distance or a short auto rickshaw drive away. It is located in an area that cars cannot access so you have to plan to use a rickshaw to reach the property. The staff were the highlight however. Pretty much everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Nimmi at reception was a particular standout. She was cheerful and helpful on every occassion. Overall highly recommend this property!

We had a nice stay in a good location although access is not easy and no lift in the building. The room was clean but very much in need of some modernisation. The pool was a terrible green colour so we decided it didn’t look safe to swim in it. The restaurant was pleasant and the menu was ok but the breakfast was limited. The staff were all very helpful.

Great experience

Lovely hotel centrally located. The food , breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious and with a very extensive menu. The best part about this hotel were the wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. They were amazing. We had a wonderful stay.

We stayed at the Moustache Verandah hotel for our anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is incredibly clean, with everything spotless and well-maintained. The only minor issue we encountered was that the hot water didn’t always work, but it didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment. What truly makes this hotel stand out is the staff—they are absolutely amazing. Always friendly, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed. One morning, we had to leave early before breakfast service started, and they went out of their way to make sure we could still have a meal before our trip. It was such a thoughtful gesture. On top of that, they surprised us with gifts for our wedding anniversary, which made our stay even more special. Overall, it was an incredible experience. If I ever return to Udaipur, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Moustache again!

Hôtel confortable petit déjeuner très correct et très bon dîner avec superbe vue sur le lac depuis la terrasse et la piscine à débordement. Demander de préférence une chambre avec vue sur le lac pour avoir plus de luminosité. Ayant été victime d'un accident à Udaipur, le gérant de l'hôtel a tout organisé pour mon arrivée à l'hôpital et a même avancé tous les frais liés. À recommander chaudement

Great staff, hotel slightly tricky to find

I booked a suite at this hotel for the end of my Rajasthan stay. It was tricky to find but the hotel were great at sending instructions on getting there. The hotel itself and my room was very spacious and well decorated but I felt there could have been more nods to local culture around. The view of the lake is stunning but there are some wear and tear of being near the water starting to show. I had half board which included a la carte for dinner and the food was incredible with a wide range of cuisines on offer. The one thing I can’t fault is the staff especially Kanishka on the front desk and the restaurant waiters who were very kind and helpful and made my stay enjoyable.

This hotel was almost perfect in all terms. So the only potential improvements could be the extremely noisy kitchen ventilation on the roof which you can hear in all rooms and the smelling bathroom of room no 25. Apart from that was the room itslef perfect, clean and had a stunning view towards the lake. The stuff was unbelievable friendly and helpful with everything and the restaurant was outstanding good. Loved our stay here!

Staff and services are really good, they try their best to make the stay memorable. They also give multiple complimentary services like daily foot massage, coconut water, desserts etc. they would go beyond making your stay comfortable.
