Yes...a great Indoan restaurant a place to buy a sim card, a grear coffee and breakfast place next door and down the .road. Angar and Made were helpful, cheerful and kind. An experience of being in a little part of history...the palace land.

A palace on a pauper's budget
Absolutely gorgeous place for a ridiculously low price. Felt like i was staying in the palace (which is right next door) or a temple. The room was huge, clean, comfortable, and the veranda was a perfect place to work during a rain storm. HIGHLY recommend.

For the budget price this was excellent. Cultural feel and good air con/comfortable bed. It’s an old heritage building owned by the royal palace. Some of the electrical points didn’t work but I managed to find one that did so all was good. Remember this is budget accommodation. Staff were lovely and the room was clean. Towels were a little old but again this did not bother me.
Gorgeous property for an incredibly good price. Julie was very quick to communicate with me making sure we had access even when checking in at 3AM. We had to leave early as our travel plans changed, and she was so worried that something was wrong even though there wasn’t anything wrong, but I thought that was nice that she was concerned. Property is located in the center of Ubud, so it’s very convenient for walking to major attractions.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Friendly and helpful. Thank you Julii Made and Angar.
Filthy, Filthy, Filthy - how many times can I say disgusting dump? Prime location abysmal conditions
Linens were not changed
Bathroom was not cleaned - soap scum and other buildup on the shower tiles.
Cobwebs in the bathroom
Stained and dirty linens and pillows
Debris build up
Condoms left from a previous stay
In summary, truly unacceptable sanitary conditions.
There is no pride held in this property, rather than capitalizing on its potential and making an investment - they would rather collect what little they can and allow the property to be a rundown dump.
The villa I stayed in was a comfortable size with a porch and seating area overlooking the courtyard garden with its water features. Although it was an old building, the furnishings and interior were modern but not overly fussy, which I found to be just right for me. The bed was quite firm with a good selection of different weights of pillows so I could find the right combination for my comfort. I was pleasantly surprised that the TV had Netflix and the compound wi-fi fast enough for my needs.
The staff were so friendly and asked each day if I wanted the room made up and fresh towels. The raindrop shower was always clean and the room was stocked with a couple of water bottles each day. The staff went to great lengths to tend to the gardens and properties and they were always ready with a wave and smile and always went out of their way to make me welcome. There is a really great cafe called .Temu that partially sits within the grounds that did great food and drinks and excellent coffee.
I would like to add that my stay at Puri Anyar Heritage was one of the most pleasurable and relaxing experiences I had in a long time. It’s such a beautiful and relaxing environment steeped in history and charm. In the evenings you would never know that you were just a few hundred yards from the Royal Palace, the Art Market and the hustle and bustle of the main part of Ubud. I highly recommend a stay here.
