"The house was nice and clean. The check-in process was easy. The online listing did not indicate that all of the bedrooms are located upstairs. Although the stairs are pretty and shiny, I was not expecting them to be slippery. It is noted that the home has a private extension off the kitchen with a tenant. It does not state that the tenant can come and go within the whole house. I was discussing with another person how to turn on the ceiling fan light in the kitchen. When we left and came back in, the ceiling fan light was on. That makes me wonder if the tenant came into the kitchen and turned them on. That was very unexpected. I was very uncomfortable knowing that someone could walk in anytime without notice. Evidence shows that the tenant can come and go because food is in the refrigerator. Also, I did not realize that the keys that each bedroom door has were for us to lock our bedroom when we left the house. I feel that should have been disclosed upfront. Overall, a beautiful home, but not somewhere that I would stay in again."

"I did NOT stay at this Mid-Town loft because a last-minute water problem caused by the city. Instead, I agreed to stay at 10 North Hallett Street which the host had available. He was very helpful in letting me check-in early at 11am. However, I’m a 75-year-old retired female and the Hallett Street property DID NOT feel safe. The outside steps were not deep enough and difficult to climb with all my bags, etc. The one railing available was narrow with chipped paint, so one couldn’t really “grab” onto it. Inside the apartment the flooring of every room was at a different height and created more potential trip hazards. In fact, I removed the kitchen rug because I kept tripping on it. In the bathtub/shower there was no grab bar. The duplex outlet near the bathroom sink was not securely attached to the wall and at one point I actually saw sparks coming from it. Other complaints I have seem small when compared to the safety hazards. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! "
