Enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly staff, accomodation and the safari drives. Very knowledgeable safari guide who was friendly, great sense of humour and made the trip more special ( thank you- Philemon ). Would definitely return to Tembe and recommend it.

The tent facilities are great - every reasonable thing has been considered to make your stay comfortable and it is all at a competitive price. Staff are friendly and helpful. The game drives are all led by knowledgeable and friendly staff so even if the wild-life is sometimes hard to find, they do their utmost to keep you informed and enjoy the experience of being in the "bush". A great place to stay for an African experience. It does not provide (the unwanted) 5* accommodation but provides a real feel of what many people would like to find. It was our 5th visit, so that must show something to indicate our approval!

Very few places are now available in the world where you can stay, at a good price, and get the experience of being treated well by friendly staff and be so close to the natural world which is on the "doorstep". Accomodation (in tents) is superb with all all reasonable facilities having been considered and provided for the guests. Highly recommended for those interested in the (sadly declining) natural world who want to experience part of Africa's fantastic heritage before it disappears.

This camp has now been visited 5 times - but always for the same reasons. The location is great, the staff are friendly and helpful, the prices are very reasonable, and everything about it provides an African "bush" experience. Although one can never be sure how successful the game-viewing may be, everything will be done to make it a memorable and informative experience. And it will be! Accommodation is first-rate with the safari-tents equipped for comfort but also a recognition that you are still in the "bush". Enjoy the wild-life, starry skies and the totally friendly environment! Totally recommended.

Birds and birds again!

The staff are great however the game drives were not. If you like bird watching then great if not think about another park. The guide spent more time looking at birds and vegetation than any of the big 5. The vegetation is so thick near to the tracks it is impossible to spot anything ground level. The evening meals were poor but the breakfast was very good.

Excellent séjour dans le bush d'une journée

Séjour sous une grande tente bien aménagée avec sanitaire en dur. Un peu isolé dans le bush ce qui nous a permis de profiter des bruits de la nature. Petite piscine commune pour se rafraichir. 2 safaris par jour compris dans le prix. Merci à Patrick, notre guide, pour son dévouement. Petit déjeuner et repas variés et de très bonne qualité.
