"Room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Restaurant food is very good. We had breakfast (included) and dinner (E295pp for 3 course set menu). The grounds are beautiful with several cows roaming around. The drive up to reception is quite long (felt like about 2-3km) but don’t worry, you’re on the right track! You’ll meet several cows on that road too so don’t go too fast! Overall an idyllic setting. "

"Rustic log cabin in a scenic location. We stopped for one night en route to our destination and it was fine for our needs for that night."

Restaurant staff seemed to lack hospitality training and were not customer focused, preferring to look at their phones and told us to get our own wine from the bar. Our room smelt musty but was OK when windows & doors were open. A tea bag and milk would have been appreciated. Room itself was large and comfortable and the scenery was stunning."

"Very aged facilities. The staff lack communication skills and literally grunt at requests. A beautiful steak for dinner was somehow botched. How much salt does a chef need to butcher a good piece of beef??? No thanks. This place will not see me again."
