"Although there were only 7 cars at the hotel. And I put a note in my resignation to be put on the bottom floor,we got a second floor room. The person at the desk could not move us to the bottom floor with out the manager’s approval. I have bad knees and the stairs are very difficult. I do not like to ask for a handy cap room because there are people that need them more than me. I will not stay at this hotel again."

"Our room overlooked the roof of the indoor pool area, with a chimney- no other view. For the price we payed, and for how old the property is, we should have had a few of the woods or the lake. The property is really outdated. The parking lot, sidewalks, some fencing, the resort sign on HWY 61 needs a serious makeover. We walked along the lake shore each morning and evening, which was fine to see the sunrise and sunset, but the beach needs cleaning up of sticks, wood logs, and large debris. You can hear people talking through the walls of the room. I tried contacting the front desk and was asked to contact my complaint through Expedia for some form of refund. I'm still waiting on it."

"Clean and quiet room. Had plenty of work space to use my laptop as well as to get my gear organized for the next part of my trip."

"Did not use fireplace or pool area but nice to have if really wanted to use them rooms where good sized and beds where very comfortable,nice variety of games and books if weather is not cooperating and need to stay indoors I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a very nice place to stay if you are in the area."
