Scout's House Summary

Summary:
Welcome to Scout’s House! This unique Newfoundland home was just upgraded this year and is ready for its guests. This house is a stones throw from the ocean and is right in the middle of town. You will be within walking distance of local restaurants and pubs. Relax in the sun on the front deck or cozy up around the fire pit at night.

This house is named after the owners’ beloved golden retriever, Scout, and is expectedly dog-friendly! If you are planning on bringing your dog with you during your stay, please let us know so we will have a dog bed, toys, treats and food bowls ready for you.

Please note: in historic Newfoundland fashion, this house was built for a generation much shorter than more recent ones with the ceilings being 6ft 2in high. We care about the comfort of your stay so we feel that this disclaimer is necessary.

Sleeping Arrangements:
Bedroom 1 - Double Bed

Bedroom 3 - Queen Bed
Pack & Play available for babies & toddlers if needed, just let us know beforehand!

The Neighborhood:
Scout's is perfectly situated in the heart of Twillingate, offering easy access to the town's many attractions and dining options. A leisurely stroll from the house will bring you to local restaurants and points of interest, immersing you in the charm of this Newfoundland community.

Other Things to Note:
Please be aware that the ceilings upstairs are only 6ft 2in high. This is typical for homes of this era in Twillingate and might not be suitable for all guests.

Interaction with Guests:
Managed locally, we are only a text, call or message away.
