"I booked a room to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. I ordered the flowers online and delivered to the lodge. The staff put the flowers in the room before we check in. Furthermore, they upgraded our room to theking bed with mountain view and also decorate our room for the birthday celebration. We really enjoyed this stay. The breakfast is great and they always have coffee, tea and cookies or pastries in the lobby. The only downside of this lodge is we could hear people walking upstairs, or talking next door. Overall, we really enjoy the stay."

"We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this place! The house was cute, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a standout, beautiful and so inviting. We only wish we had taken advantage of it more because we already miss it!The location was great, with easy access to nearby hiking and several really good restaurants in the area. We were in town to visit the Stormville Flea Market, which was about a 50-minute drive, and it was definitely worth the trip. We had a great time there.William was a fantastic host, responsive, helpful, and full of great local recommendations. Overall, a great experience and we’d happily stay again!"

"Gorgeous spacious house with so many cool amenities and fun things to do nearby in town. Check in and communication was easy. Some things to note - the water smelled/tasted a bit off at times so did recommend buying bottled water. It also got very cold at night and heat took awhile to kick in (it was toasty by the morning after) so just turn it on ahead of going to bed. Would definitely book again. "

"Beautiful quaint home. The deck was our favorite place to hang (when we weren’t bicycling on the convenient rail trail). Oh yes, and relaxing in the hammock was another favorite activity (or more precisely “non-activity” ). Nicely equipped with everything we needed."

"Host was available when we needed the heat turned on and when it was too hot: it was still warm in our bedrooms, we cracked the windows. One solution is leave the remote for our needed adjustments. Also would love to have hooks in the bathroom. Thanks Joseph"

"We stayed at this lovely historic apartment while visiting our daughter who recently moved to Poughkeepsie. She stayed one night with us and loved it. The space was perfect for the 3 of us and our dog. Entry was easy, even w/ the emporium closed. Ingrid allowed us to enter at noon (her suggestion), which was much appreciated after taking the overnight flight from Seattle to New York. It was nice to have a nap in a quiet spot before heading out. The location was great - completely quiet at night, 2 1/2 miles from a grocery store, less than 6 miles from New Paltz and only 11 miles from Poughkeepsie. We never drove far for local and historic sites. There were many thoughtful details. Gourmet snacks for us. And, Ingrid was so gracious and hospitable w/ respect to our 1 year old puppy. We arrived to a comfy little dog bed w/ the sweetest dog toy and dog bowls. Our dog was so excited! The apartment was comfy and cozy, with sweet details. Gardiner is such a cute village w/ antique stores and restaurants within walking distance. Per her recommendation, we had breakfast at Cafe Mio, just across the streets. Yummy! We’d definitely stay again when in the area. "
