"This hotel is our favorite in Tuscaloosa—spacious clean rooms, excellent service, lovely common spaces, delicious full breakfast, and all centrally located in a beautiful part of town, walkable to downtown, 5 min drive from Bama, and across from Parker-Hahn Park and the best little coffee shop—Heritage House. We ALWAYS stay here!"

"Parking was easy. The AC Unit was loud and very disturbing when it kicked on, the bathtub was pretty gross. I originally booked a room with 1 King Bed, when I called on my way to confirm my room, as I was arriving late, I was told the King Bed rooms were filled. Which was fine b/c my daughter ended up wanting to stay in the room, but when I got there .. even though they already filled my reserved King Bed Room, they charged me more money for the room with 2 beds ... Bad Business"

"I got the hotel and they said they didnt have my name at all ..i got at 1140 of so pm . Because of work they blamed it hotels .com they wouldnt put money back on me credit or give me another room they tried to make me pay for another room ..i had the confirmation number on my phone "

"Elevator was broken, trash bags from maids outside every room lined the hallways, not yet taken to dumpster at 8pm when we checked in. Rooms still being vacuumed at 9:30 at night, loudly, while trying to sleep. Smelled a little musty. Maids vaping in hallways. Just no. Will not return. "

"Front desk staff need some customer service training. When I approached the desk on Sunday night neither of the two young females greeted me. I had to ask if I could check in. Then the only thing spoken to me was to ask for my cc for incidentals and that I must pay a parking fee. There was no “thank you” or hope you have a great stay or let us know if you need anything…..They set the tone for my stay. This place is fine if you are doing something connected with the university but not if you are a travel or wanting to check out Tuscaloosa."
