**Fantastic Stay – Great Location & Amazing Staff!** an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in was smooth, and they even provided great recommendations for nearby attractions and dining options. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. My room was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed, including a cozy bed, fast Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked minibar. Housekeeping did a fantastic job of keeping everything spotless throughout my stay. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It’s conveniently situated in the heart of Tunapuna, close commute to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas just a short walk away. Whether you're here for business or leisure, everything you need is within reach. The on-site facilities were also impressive. The restaurant served delicious meals. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Great service, a prime location, and excellent amenities for the price. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!

Almost Perfect, Especially for Carnival! Shhh ; )

This is a hidden gem! I was received service months before my trip. You can go to their website and see all the contacts so you'll know who to contact. Also, there is a nice restaurant on the property with good food and service! My reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 relate to the odor and privacy for room 205. Room was super clean but smelled like moth balls , which were placed throughout. A few were in the closet so i couldn't put clothes there. Plus it also smelled like it had recently been painted. The way the rooms are set up, you'll be able to be heard by your neighbors in 204. Probably more in the shower and restroom. Relating to Carnival, it's about 10 miles from downtown so getting a rideshare back to the hotel can be difficult at times. You should fine if have a driver. You can also catch the bus because the hotel is one min walk from a bus stop.

I booked and stayed twice through Expedia. However Expedia does not have an accurate listing of this place. The first time I paid over $100US more than the second, but my room was a tiny box the first time. Second time I paid less and the room was bigger with a microwave and fridge. About to book a third time and not even sure what room to pick. But this time I have the staff info to call right after I book to make sure I get a decent room. On my first trip I arrived to no front desk at 10pm and had to sit outside with my suitcases for about 45min-1hr, until compound security was able to reach hotel staff to check me in. On my second visit front desk messaged me the day before my trip to confirm my arrival time. Also there is no food service in the hotel! There is a shop outside but not consistent with hours. Overall staff is friendly and helpful as long as they are there. I still loved it because the gym is on the premises but you have to pay. Still liked being able to walk to the gym.

It was the worst experience ever. The pictures did not match the actual place or accommodations. The first night after checking in, we had to vacate as there were bugs all over the room. Being there was no staff, I couldn’t call anyone. Decided to leave and stay at a hotel. Came back the next morning to check out.

I got to the hotel and there was no one at the counter to check me in. The hostel is completely run down. Several areas were substandard. It is not easy to find and passes through a very suspicious area. They promised me a refund and I received none after being forced to find and pay for another place to stay at night. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. You're better off sleeping in the airport.

Staff could do with customer training. The quarrelled and used abusive language all throughout the hotel. If the hotel is for a brief stay, then by all means use it. Its definitely not for a family vacation.

The rooms were pretty clean and smelled good as you opened the door. The a.c didn't work well so the room was pretty hot at times. The ONLY time i saw A staff member was when we were checking in, and had a long wait before she came. The next day, no staff in site. We waited a while hr in the lobby till someone showed up...and checking out, there was no again.....overall it was ok for what it was...

Nothing was provided in the hotel just 2 towels and bed to sleep. No bottle water,no hot water kettle,no coffee,tea no toiletries for every little things had to go out of the hotel to buy. It was very inconvenient. I wouldn’t recommend anyone with my experience. Basically you only pay for the bed to sleep.

I have stayed here 3 different times using expedia. The prices does not match the room. 2/3 times there were no microwave or fridge in the room. 1/3 times no front desk staff to check in or out. There will be parties on the compound and will be loud in your room. 1/3 time room window will not lock. 1/3 times food shop was available on compound. All times you will not know the size of your room based on Expedia photos. Price adjustment needed based on room quality. However Gym on compound. Grounds keeper is friendly and there mostly all day. No refrigerator in room to store food. No coffee machine. No microwave. You will be booking just a room. For me that’s exactly what I wanted and the gym 24hr. Prices need adjustment. 3 Stars.

I was not pleased with my stay at Cattleya. The area did not seem like the safest the rooms were acceptable. The lighting was not great in the room but the water temperature and the pressure was good. The pool and gym are off property and is actually more like a YMCA than an amenity of the hotel. I never saw the spa. While I was there the elevator was out of order and they were doing g construction. I was also able to hear the people in the next room very clearly, which was very annoying.
