Great location and easy access trails
We came to town with a group of friends renting several properties in town. The plowing and parking at the property was great. Visitors need to know there is no cell service and no garbage service. Our check in was difficult because the house did not have any check in instructions or ways to contact the hosts so without cell service, we could not message them in the VRBO app. The heat was off upon arrival, and we could not find the remote for heat pump, so the house was cold for several hours. Once we were able to make contact with the property owners, they were able to get the heat pump turned on and worked great in the bunk room.We do wish to mention about the previous guest who commented about the smell of cigarette smoke that we did not smell anything like that. Tulameen does not have garbage services, so you will be taking your garbage with you. We were not advised of places we could take it and garbage bags were not provided. At the end of the trip each couple took a bag of garbage back with us. Not sure if the lack of garbage bags was an oversight but not enough toilet paper and paper towels for 6 people were unavailable too. Once we were settled in, we had a great visit. The house is within walking distance to the trading post, and we could walk to visit our friends staying close by. The snowmobile trails were easy to access.
Came as advertised.... had laundry facilities- did not realize they took loonies thoughVery quiet, had almost all the comforts of home.... would stay there again!
Great location, great layout and no issues! We will be going back soon😁

Really enjoyed my stay. Was clean and spacious and can walk to beach and corner store. Neighbors were friendly. Nice dead end street. House had everything we needed as far as cooking etc. Will definitely go back
Second year staying here over Canada Day long weekend and once again enjoyed our stay. Kids love having their own side of the house and can walk easily to store. Beach isn't too far. House is clean and comfy and cool. Would stay again
This was an excellent choice for me. I needed a place with a kitchen for an extended stay and found this home. It has everything you need, just show up and enjoy. The process was simple and the owner provided great help and guidance.
Let's start with the good. We came to Tulameen for my brother's wedding, and to spend time with my dad and my sister, who I haven't seen since the start of the pandemic. It was precious time, and precious vacation time. The place was close to my brother's and my sister-in-law's, the porch was a good entertaining space, the kitchen was well-equipped, and there was enough space for all four of us. I also appreciated the owner allowing us to come a day earlier and leave a day earlier. That being said, there were more than few disappointments. 1. Given the cost of this place (we spent less in Victoria), don't charge people to do laundry. Yes, this was advertised as such, but it's so tacky and such nickle and diming. Just build the cost into the rental and be done with it. In protest, I did no laundry. 2. We have just returned to our home in London, and pretty much all of my clothes smell like cigarette smoke from being in the master bedroom. You might have banned smoking in the house now, but the carpets and overall smell doesn't lie. For non-smokers (and for adults who grew up in the '70s with parents who smoked, we know these things). 3. Just say that the third "bedroom" is a garage conversion with four bunk beds and a gaming station. I would not constitute this as a third bedroom for an adult. 4. Air conditioning. When you rent your pad out in July/August, and if you say there is air conditioning, say that the only air conditioning unit is in the GARAGE! No idea why you would choose to put this in there, but ok, at the very least make sure that the house has fans. We had to scramble to get fans elsewhere in order to sleep. 5. I asked if there was a BBQ. It would have been helpful to know that the propane was empty. Again, I was cooking for family, and we had to scramble to get propane. No one likes surprises. I'm sure if you take this to heart, you'll make it work, but it doesn't right now. Thanks.

No kettle
The house was nice and spacious and the beds were soft. Only real complaint is that there was no kettle, not a big deal but would have been nice to have. Also note, if you've never been to Tulameen, you have to pack out all your garbage as there is now waste collection. Bring a heavy duty garbage bag.
