「The photos don't do this place justice. It has absolutely everything you need, and more! It most definitely has a luxurious feel to it. I loved the bathroom. The cottage os much bigger than it looks in the photos, so much room! 」

「Rooms are dated. Car park requires that you have to drag your suitcase through gravel. Staff except for the bar very dismissive. We ordered a take away mean from the bar to take back to our room as there is no room service. The restaurant didn't tell the bar it was ready for 30 minutes, subsequently the food was cold and dry. Nothing good to report other than the grounds are well maintained ant the views are spectacular. 」

「The room itself had been recently decorated in a modern decor, unfortunately our bathroom had clearly been smoked in recently, not the hotels fault given all the signs, but the smell was very overpowering and unpleasant. Despite going in winter, we couldn't get the room cool enough -we opened the window and turned off the radiator but couldn't sleep as it was too hot. In addition, there was a party downstairs we were not warned about, the music carried on very late which prevented us sleeping -...

「The staff we encountered, and another we asked for help with heating, were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were plentiful, although no fruit or brown bread was offered. Toast was offered, but with no suitable crockery. Not enough plug sockets in the bedroom and what were on offer, were not all usable ! Heating was provided in the room - although with no instructions - which proved necessary. Bathroom facilities were good and clean. Parking was plentiful. It was odd that a decaf coffee option...
