Very helpful staff and very nice cozy apartments. Comfortable beds, good TV, modern kitchen.

This is such a gorgeous place. We got to see the northern lights both nights. The cabin was very clean and reception has been incredibly responsive. I will be coming back. The view was gorgeous, especially at dawn when the water is still with the white mountains reflecting in the water. Highly recommend.

Aera was super nice and we got to see the Aurora Borealis. The room is very tiny but you have all you need. Make sure to bring the bare minimum you need! The glass view is awesome. Waking up to that amazing view is priceless! Can park your car right next to the cabin. The dining option is limited and the food was nothing spectacular but the breakfast got delivered just as requested inside a picnic basket. It was a special/ memorable occasion!

We had a great stay overall. The check-in was the easiest and quickest we have experienced in quite some time. There was free coffee / tea available by the reception all day, a very nice touch in the cold. The sauna in the central building is spacious and convenient. We also had a private sauna in the beach house we stayed in - this was an amazing surprise (should be called out in the room's details!). In terms of location, both Sommaroy island and the hotel are great - to enjoy the scenery and...

Very warm and clean but no amenities.

Very nice area everything is walking distance. 3 adults in the room but it was spacious and the kitchen came handy. Most comfortable sofa bed I ever tried. My flight didn't leave until 3pm, it was nice to have a place to leave my bags.

This is a special place on earth, and Maria is a wonderful hostess and owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. She prepares farm-to-table fare that is delicious. However, we were visiting in March, and at that time of the year the options for a vegetarian is rather limited. Other than that, which is certainly understandable, this was a great place to relax, unwind, snowshoe, and ski (rentals in Tromso).

Very friendly front desk staff. Excellent breakfast buffet, which included the best smoked salmon I've ever had. Cosy cafe dining room with an open fire. The bacalao was delicious.

Rooms are quiet big to Europe Standars. Bathroom are modern and nice. Breakfast is very good. Gym is outsource but according to my sons very good. Nice hotel

Accommodations excellent, 2 comfortable bedrooms, one bathroom, living dining area with a kitchenette: fridge, dishwasher, cooktop, no microwave. We had a washing machine too. We were a family of 9 and had 3 rooms (better called apartments) and they were very comfortable indeed. Staff went out of their way to help us when ordering food upon our arrival. Breakfast was included at the hotel and it was amazing. We all loved our stay. Highly recommend it.

We had a very pleasant stay! The hotel is in a great location, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The room size was just right for our stay. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel!

Very nice experience especially the helpful staffs lady that checked us in. I’ll stay there again. Right on the Harbour from with easy walking to many good restaurants.

Great setup with clean rooms and family friendly environments

Breakfast was the best

EVERYTHING in Norway is expensive. No, shut up, you know I'm right--EVERYTHING is expensive, and when you're visiting Norway's largest city above the Arctic Circle, let's face it--you're not coming all the way up here to sit in your hotel room all day. No, you want to maximize your spending power and save the NOKs for dogsledding and Northern Lights hunting. The Thon Tromsø is located one block from the main promenade in downtown Tromsø, close to the city bus lines and only a short walk from...

The hotel facilities are well maintaned and in excellent conditions. The breakfast was the best.
