We stayed in a premium cabin overlooking the pond. It was a clean cold room that provided a great escape from the heat. The views were great from the little porch and the room was clean and very accessible. This was a great place to stay in the middle of a bunch small Texas towns and forest trails for nature viewing.

I liked the free roaming horses and goats and how friendly and helpful everyone was. We had one issue with our microwave and they put a new one in within minutes. The only thing that would of been better is if they maintained the cabin a little better and stocked the kitchen better with pots and pans,

I had a very bad experience with expedia my reservation was canceled 20 min before check in and was no help was so disappointed had to book something close by it was my son's graduation surprise but when I checked in this other place the owners went beyond to make our stay great friendly gave us a free boat ride was an amazing experience made something bad turn into an amazing experience thank you forever grateful the nicest sweetest people and an awesome place to stay

I booked this stay on Father's Day weekend. My husband enjoyed himself from the time we unloaded the car. He was sitting by the lake with pole in the water within less than an hour of our arrival. The check in was nice and smooth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There's also a little convenient store on property. The cabin had an issue prior to our arrival but the hostess informed me of it and had already taken care of it. Cabin was clean and in order. The neighbors were all welcoming and helpful. Hubby enjoyed himself so much he started talking about planning another stay. He works so hard and lately he's been stressed but when I tell you he was beyond Zen. I couldn't stop smiling and being beyond relieved.

I know that January is the off-season, but I was looking for somewhere to stay en-route on a driving trip... someplace with a sunset view! Greg and Carolyn treated me like family! They upgraded my cabin, came to help me adjust the heater temperatures on the mini-splits, and she even brought me a homemade chicken dinner!! I cannot say enough nice things about these people! The cabin was lovely, with Starlink internet and Dish tv. As an extra bonus, I had a gorgeous sunrise view as well!! I wish I could post the photos!! Thanks, guys!

The property was less than 10 minutes from the dog event that we were attending for the weekend. Whle the road from the highway to the property is in terrible condition, it was doable. We will definitely book it again for repeat events. I look forward to the weather being warmer so we could enjoy the wayer.

Everything was clean and in great condition, except for the spiderwebs on the back patio, which they forgot to clean, I was able to get rid of these no problem with the broom that was provided. There is no dining table inside, so one must brave the outdoors to eat on the gorgeous covered front patio. In addition, there are no spices or oils, so be sure to bring your own condiments, and the cooking supplies are minimal: one frying pan, one sauce, pan, one batch. However, the host is more than accommodating and very, very friendly! Communication was fabulous, and when we bought firewood, they had it delivered to our site! The host, Greg, even gave us heavy whipping cream from his own fridge for our coffee. Now that’s a stand out service!
