「We had a wonderful stay at Strawhouse Resort. The property is beautiful, with the cafe and patio along the river. Good pizza and coffee roasted on site. Amazing hospitality from Don, Julia and all the Strawhouse team. We stayed in the yurt. What a fun experience. It was cozy and well appointed. This area along the Trinity River is so beautiful. 」

「We had a wonderful and relaxing Memorial weekend getaway with a beautiful view. The home was huge and clean for the most part. The only dirty part was the kitchen drawers other than that everything else was clean. The beds were super comfy and enough space to lounge around. Definitely would go back.」

「Great property, nice little hide-away. Enjoyed doing some fishing and hanging out with friends around the fire pit. No need to go anywhere but relax by the river. House was clean and welcoming (including a nice bottle of wine to enjoy). Close to home and perfect for a quick get-away. Thank you!」

「On arrival the code for the door did not work the host was not available by phone. The house was cold upon entering and it took hours to heat up. 2 of the remotes for the mini splits had dead batteries and did not work. The (bed) in the guest room was a box spring with a mattress topper on it. The bed in the master was old and had a large sunken spot in the middle making it very uncomfortable. There was dog poop in the yard around the fruit trees. Overall we did not have a good stay.」

「We had a great time relaxing in this home. It was very clean, the beds are beyond comfortable! Kitchen is so well stocked with cooking supplies! Walking to the river and fishing in the morning and evening was so nice and fun for the kids. When finding the house look at the street signs not your phone, it’s easy! Adorable Weaverville is just minutes away for ice cream and dinner.」

「Nice property with plenty of parking. Especially for boats if your in the area to enjoy fishing Lake Trinity. Only about 25 minutes from the lake. Private and secure. The cabin has everything you need. The host was awesome and ready to help with anything you might need. Will definitely be back.」

「After heading a wedding near Redding, we ventured to Weaverville for R n R. Went to Avenue of the Giants to see the redwoods. A long drive but worth it. BRBO was great!」
