"Excellent stay and well worth the money. It's a family run establishment so you get the personal touch and some extras like much needed milk in the fridge. It's a drive into an estate so the location is peaceful and pretty. All amenities were kept to a very high standard. We'll definitely be looking to stay here again next time I'm down in Cornwall. Penzance is down the road for all your shopping and Porthocurno / Lands End are a 20 minute drive away. Ideal location."

Crabpot Cottage, Newlyn

"Fab week in Newlyn, a location we know very well. Great fisherman’s cottage with great amenities and fully equipped for our stay. Loved the stone flooring on the hot summer days. Our one small issue was no shower, as we didn’t realise when booking, but once we were accustomed to using the bath, this was not a problem. The team were very quick to respond to any questions asked of them. All in all we had a wonderful week in Newlyn, one of our favourite places in Cornwall."

"We travelled with our dogs and had a great welcoming from the host who seemed like she would do anything to help. Location is closely to the town centre and parking closeby was easy. Breakfast was brilliant and very fresh definitely set us up for our day. Bed was comfortable so we had a goodnight sleep"

"Loved staying at this Shepherd's Hut! We wouldn't normally book a 'hut' but were captivated by the photos and liked the extra space with a separate sleeping section. Stayed 5 nights. This is a special place with it's private, secluded garden and attention to detail. Beautifully laid out, very clean, comfortable, and everything you need - plus a welcome pack! There is a stone path and steps to the property which is quite magical but might not suit everyone. Host provided all details in advance with a local contact if needed. Don't let proximity to the main road put you off - an occasional sound of a lorry or motor bike but otherwise so quiet and relaxing. Close to Penzance with it's fabulous, independent shops, galleries and cafes and Newlyn with galleries and amazing seafood shops, fresh off the boats. Lots to do in the area. Would definitely recommend and hope to return."

"A darling wee cottage! Clean,modern amenities,super communications with owners.And, as shared with the owners…our concerns:1)VERY steep stairs up to Bathroom & Bedroom… handrail did not go far enough to support the last number of stairs where they turned to the top floor. 2)car park… we were ever sooo lucky to leave our rental car parked approx…150 ft./50 metres uphill on the right: approx. 5 car spaces, as FREE… otherwise figure out pay parking….just a bit lower down the hill from the Cottage. Again must say how very darling is this cottage… over looking the water, withSt.Michael’s Mount in view! And, we left our car parked for the whole5 days,4 nights… & took the bus to other places…easy to do.Bus Drivers figure out the best ticket price for where you are going! Locals we spoke with were very congenial/helpful!! The Co-Op store has all you really need for groceries! And… this is such a much more relaxed, pretty darned quiet place vs St.Ives!! We walked to Mousehole, then took bus back… Also, is easy to take bus to St.Michael’s Mount & return on a day pass. And, the double scoop ice cream cone at St.Michael’s Mount is gargantuan!! Will replace a lunch!! NOT kidding!! All in all… just wonderful!!"
