Fanning Springs State Park and the Suwannee River are less than 3 miles away. Enjoy a restful stay after exploring nearby natural springs like Manatee, Hart, and Otter Springs, or venture farther to Ginnie, Blue, Rainbow, and Ichetucknee Springs. Visit Steinhatache, Crystal River, or historic Cedar Key, all within an hour. Gainesville, The University of Florida, and Shands Hospital are just over an hour away-ideal for both leisure and visiting guests.

Entry and exit of the home requires two small steps.

The attached garage is not part of the rental, and guests do not have access to the garage. There is also a small hallway closet that is the owner's closet that guests do not have access to.

Please note: This home is located in a rural setting. It is surrounded by woods, brush, and natural vegetation, so you may occasionally encounter local wildlife. Aside from birds, squirrels, and rabbits, you could encounter venomous snakes, spiders, raccoons, bobcats, armadillos, opossum etc. Due to the natural environment, insects are common outside. We recommend packing sunscreen and mosquito repellent if you plan to spend time outdoors. Additionally, there are times when these insects may find their way indoors. This could include mosquitoes, ants, moths, beetles, spiders, a occassional palmetto bug etc.

Please note the area has very limited ambient lighting, which allows for beautiful dark skies at night but can make it feel quite dark after sunset. We recommend arriving before dark when possible and using caution when moving around outdoors, especially at night.

Wifi is available, but can be spotty at times due to the rural setting.
