"A tad off the beaten track, this is a quaint, country small bed and breakfast. Extremely clean, spotless throughout. Breakfast was somewhat limited, but the quality was good, including freshly home-baked bread. The hotel is near a hydroelectric dam and in the middle of an apple orchard region. WiFi sadly not good. Not too much around in the evening, so you need to travel for restaurants."

There are 3 pools (1 indoor & heated), beautiful sauna, gym, free parking, great restaurants on site, access to the lake. Staff is great, especially Lewis in the lobby restaurant & Helena at Campannina. The food we enjoyed at the restaurants aws some of the best of the whole trip. Breakfast included & wonderful. There is a playground on the property & kids club. The perfect family...

"Hotel Fontanella was wonderful. The views from the hotel are far superior than those in town, which was very nice. The room was nice overall, brought up to date in recent years to feel more modern. The only downside of the hotel was the lack of explanation of the amenities when we checked in, which made us look like idiots when we kept asking about certain things."

"When we arrived we got an amazing glass of home made apple juice and they also gave us home made apple wine as a welcome gift :) the room was neat and cozy, the shower was also very clean and nice. Super friendly, such an amazing experience! We absolutely loved it here!"

"We booked this property over others in the area because it advertised hot tub and sauna. When we arrived after a long drive from Livigno we were surprised to hear we couldn’t use it at all. Not only was it an extra $15 euro pp, they said it was fully booked. Our room was very noisy and didn’t get much sleep as we could hear our neighbours TV all night. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good but the hotel was not what we thought we signed up for. "
