"This property was not what we expected. We really appreciated the work that had gone into renovating the house, considering what an incredible hassle that must have been. The “free parking” is some distance away, which isn’t what we expected. The location instructions were complicated and ended up involving the entire neighbourhood (we had no cell service) a car wedged into tiny streets surrounded by children, and much unnecessary stress. So, Baunei is cute, and a good location for nurraghes, but the hairpin turns to get there combined with difficulties finding the place detracted from our experience. Still, we loved Sardinia and enjoyed our stay."
