「Comfortable room with en-suite toilet & shower. Pleasant staff, bar prices very reasonable. Good atmosphere in pub areas. Food not bad, (cheese sauce on nachos not good) Would recommend as a good base for surrounding attractions.」

「Everything sorted when we arrived. When we had a problem with cooker timer host arranged for an electrician to check asap…on a bank holiday weekend. Hosts very welcoming. Although ‘no housekeeping’ is stated this is the second time we have stayed for more than a week and sheets. And towels have been changed.」

「The room was very spacious and comfortable. The property is old (steeped in history) but the room had all the features we needed. The instructions were excellent and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. The bed was a little creaky and the pillows were a little thin/soft for my preferences, but perfectly comfortable and adequate. Great value for money. Great location. Highly recommend the breakfast!! A great stay - would stay again. 」
