"The hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. As a military spouse, I have traveled all over the world (30 countries to date.) I was on a work trip and had never been to the valley. From the front staff, the bartender (amazing), and the food, it was like a little vacation. I brought my cat and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Very quiet rooms and safe location. Everyone try a margarita from the new machine! So good!!"

"The Texas Inn in Harlingen was a delightful surprise. It was spotless and well maintained. The refrigerator was larger than most hotel refrigerators, the TV was large and the bed very comfortable. Their charge for our dogs was very reasonable and they have a large grassy area for them to walk. It was a very nice stay."

"The only thing that made me bring up this review was that the sheets and covers were torn and the chairs were stained. Honestly, it was clean and enjoy the artic blast a/c, but the chairs and bed sheets need updated. "
