We had a pleasant stay at Sugar Beach Resort Hotel. The staff were very welcoming, and we enjoyed the pool area and the small arcade, which kept the kids entertained. While the breakfast box was adequate, we felt it could have been more substantial. We did notice that the rooms and the hotel itself are a bit dated, but the location right on the beach is truly outstanding and makes up for it.

Breakfast was delivered to your room and was a 'boxed' breakfast - we opted for the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich each day, it was a little disappointing. You had to go to the lobby for coffee or use the small coffee maker in the room. The comforter was dirty, but the rest of the room and bathroom were OK. The staff was friendly. The weekend we were there, there were a lot of families who really trashed the beach area, it took the staff a while to clean up the beach area. The hot tub and pool were nice. Good location.
