This is a great 2 bedroom apartment in an ideal location for fun on the town! Restaurants, breweries, and the river are just steps away. We were thrilled with the space and convenience to the downtown attractions. We will be back!
Came into town with a friend for a girls weekend and we absolutely loved this condo! It was so cute, very clean, and within walking distance to shopping and food on Front Street. Manager was very easy to get in touch with and responded quickly. Highly recommend and will stay here again myself!
Our small group of friends loved this condo! Fantastic location, and we loved that they provided easy winter parking (since overnight isn’t allowed on the streets in the winter). We enjoyed the space, the beds were comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely return!
We enjoyed that we were secluded from downtown, but still had an amazing view of Front Street. We also felt very safe having two doors with security codes! The short walk to the city was perfect, and we had ample street parking available for free!
We had a good experience at the condo. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable - pictures were accurate! You’re about 1/3 of a mile or so from the main drag of Front Street shops, but the location is still very convenient and close to everything. Several good coffee shops within walking distance. Also easy to get on the roads to the Old Mission Peninsula, Sleeping Bear, and Moomers. The hosts were very responsive - they checked in frequently, and were very quick to fix a clogged drain. Laundry was right across the hall, and the apartment had nice kitchen basics. The only inconvenience was having to move the cars to different parking areas based on the time of day, days of the week, etc. It was easy to find, but some spots you can’t leave overnight, or can be overnight, but have to move by 8 am. Not a major issue for our crew, who was always up early anyway, but just something to note. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! Would book again.
The Good:
It's very close to downtown's main restaurant/shop area, and just a couple blocks to the beach and waterfront area. Honestly could not be a better location if you want to spend a lot of time downtown TC. The unit itself was well appointed and clean (although we had a bit of grit on the floor initially and had issues keeping it clean during the stay with no vacuum available). Beds were very comfortable. We used the air mattress for our toddler. Kitchenette was just the right size for cooking breakfast. We had a minor issue come up our first day, but the manager was very responsive and fixed it quickly.
The Bad:
During Cherry Festival, the road outside is basically non-stop traffic, and the roads around this unit are bumper to bumper on street parking at all hours of the day. Since there are no dedicated parking spots for this unit, it was a constant do-si-do of having to find a spot, re-park overnight, etc. This is likely only an issue during Cherry Festival, but it was a big headache. The street noise goes until later at night during the festival as well. The unit is cooled with mini splits which make an intermittent but annoying rumbling noise which my engineer partner assured me was not a fixable issue because it was just the condenser pump. Being a light sleeper, this was a big problem for me. Between the street noise and the A/C noise, I didn't sleep well here. For the price, I feel we could have been more rested and relaxed about parking elsewhere.
I planned a Girl's weekend to Traverse City and this unit had it all! We were able to easily walk to downtown shops and restaurants as well as the beach. The unit was super clean, was well designed, and had modern finishes. Unit was well stocked too. Would definitely recommend!
The location was absolutely perfect! Check in was mostly smooth, a few issues with the door locks but the host was also very quick to respond and assist. We did have a few issues with the fridge temperature, and needing to ask for additional trash bags, but again, the host was quick to respond. The outlets in the main bedroom don’t work, so plan to charge your phone before bed. There was a personal item left behind, and the host was quick to get back in touch and send it to us, which was very appreciated! Despite the few cleanliness issues, the responsiveness of the host was so wonderful, we would definitely stay again.
This was a great location to be able to walk to shop and eat downtown. It was very clean and a nice. Check-in and check-out was easy. We would most definitely stay here again.
We decided to venture to Traverse City for New Year’s Eve weekend, and found this Vrbo, it was in a great spot, parking wasn’t too bad, and we were able to enjoy the festivities of traverse city cherry drop, fantastic restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Would love to book the VRBO again!
The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and extremely easy to find and get into! The only issue we had was that some of the lights weren’t working. The owners replied within a couple hours and gave us instructions and it was extremely easy to get them back working. No complaints at all - would absolutely book this VRBO again and probably will.
Great place! Clean, comfortable, and size of the condo were perfect for our family of 4 adults. Proximity to Downtown and the beach also a plus. We will definitely stay there again.
We didn’t need a car for days - steps from Front Street area restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, and to West beach. Up to date decor, everything is new. Full kitchen is well stocked, beds are high quality. Would stay again!
