Only visited St. Simons Island while passing through the area. Didn't see Townsend.






Clean room, building is a bit old, needs some updating but overall acceptable. Bed was comfy, needs new pillows but linens were clean. Staff was friendly, especially the breakfast area lady. Given the unusually cold weather, the floor was quite cold. The bedroom was very dark with no overhead lights, only one lamp. However, nice sized unit with kitchen and 2 bathrooms. A very nice condo in a great location! The unit is on the 3rd floor and there is an elevator and carts. You can see and hear the ocean at that level. I enjoyed Eulonia Park Basketball court, surrounded by trees it was a very unique place to shoot some hoops, and only a very short walk to the park from Country Inn :)
