「Vermilion」

「We brought our Girl Scout troop to stay for the weekend. Cute place, great layout. Couple of the beds were not quite what we expected (twin futons in loft) but over all it was great for the # we had. Girls loved having a room to themselves and the board games were a hit. Nice room outside for yard games and sitting by the fire. 」

「Everything thing was as described! I wish the fishing was better, however in the summer its always hit or miss. Rob the caretaker was great!」

「Went to relax and celebrate my wife's birthday. We have been to Elbow Lake several times and knew what to expect. The cabin is "no frills" but that is part of the experience. It is right on the lakeshore with a deck literally a few feet from the water. The lake is quiet with very few boats making it easy to hear the frequent loon calls. It's a good kayak / canoe lake with a beautiful sand beach in front of the lodge for swimming. The on-site manger and his family are there for whatever you need....

「Overall our stay was pleasant. The one bathroom was difficult with children. We enjoyed fishing and swimming. The cabin was basic and had a definite woodsy feeling which was nice. It was easy to get to Ely and we enjoyed the area attractions the Wolf and Bear centers and the Mine. 」

「This was the worst VRBO experience I have ever had. The day of my stay I had to message for directions to the cabin. Directions were not sufficient and I had no cell service. I ended up paddling to the cabin (to the “left of the dock” as I was told). It was raining and I couldn’t find the key that was supposed to be under the steps of the deck. I had no cell service and disk was approaching so I had to drive back to town and call. The host didn’t respond to my messages. I called VRBO and they...
